Job Title: Construction Site / Factory Cleaner
Hourly Pay Rate: $15-18 (depending on experience)

Modular Solutions, Ltd. is seeking a dedicated a dependable and detail-oriented Laborer/cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment at our construction site and factory. This role involves daily cleaning tasks including nail pickup using magnets, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, dusting, vacuuming, and general upkeep of office and restroom areas.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including commercial spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaner will play a crucial role in ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for clients and employees alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily use of magnet sweepers to collect nails, screws, and metal debris in work areas to ensure safety.
Daily Sanitize high-touch surfaces including door handles, light switches, railings, and shared equipment.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, including walls, toilets, sinks, and floors.
Clean and disinfect Kitchen, including refrigerators, microwaves, sinks, and water dispenser.
Dust office areas, desks and equipment surfaces to maintain cleanliness and reduce allergens.
Vacuum carpeted office spaces and maintain cleanliness of any upholstered surfaces.
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly in accordance with site protocols.
Mop and sweep factory and construction zone floors to remove dust, debris, and spills.
Maintain and stock cleaning supplies and alert management when replenishment is needed.
Follow all site safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Pick up Construction site:
-Construction clean buildings before they are shipped
-Prep buildings for painting
-Put putty pads on electrical bolts
Important Note
This position requires a significant amount of walking throughout the day. The factory is approximately half a mile long and includes outdoor areas. Applicants should be prepared to work in varying weather conditions, especially in high heat during summer months. Proper hydration, appropriate clothing, and heat safety awareness are essential.
Qualifications:
Ability to use manual and powered cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners, magnet sweepers).
Knowledge of basic sanitation practices and occupational safety requirements.
Must be physically able to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently.
Must be dependable and punctual.
Must be able to show up to work every day
Work Environment:
Exposure to dust, noise, and active construction or industrial activity.
Must be comfortable working in physically demanding and potentially hazardous environments.
Indoor and outdoor work, including occasional exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
PPE (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, etc.) are required and all will be provided with the exception to safety shoes.
