Make a Difference!
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated live-in caregiver to provide full-time, non-medical care for an elderly diabetic gentleman who requires assistance with daily activities, including the use of a Hoyer lift. This is a live-in position, and housing is provided at no cost.
In this role, you will provide companionship and support his quality of life through personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, and transportation to doctor's appointments. You will play a critical role in creating a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment that promotes dignity and independence.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing). Bilingual/multilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
Willingness to live on-site and provide 24/7 care to ensure consistency and build trust with the client.
Experience using a Hoyer lift and assisting with transfers, bathing, and in-bed mobility.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Reliable, insured vehicle for errands and appointments.
Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and reference check.
Access to a smartphone and an active email for communication and scheduling.
Physically capable of assisting with patient lifting and repositioning.
Compensation:
Bi-weekly salary (based on experience)
Private housing provided
