Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to health regulations.
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and knives with proficiency.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Participate in menu planning and development of new dishes.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cook in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Familiarity with dietary restrictions and meal preparation for special diets is a plus.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using kitchen tools and equipment.
