Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Smoothie Bar Barista / Nutrition Sales Associate. In this role, you will prepare and serve nutritious smoothies and snacks while providing expert guidance on our range of health and nutrition products. This position is ideal for someone passionate about health, wellness, and creating a welcoming experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Smoothie Bar:
-Prepare and serve high-quality smoothies, juices, and bowls in accordance with recipes and customer requests.
-Operate and maintain blending and food preparation equipment.
-Ensure the smoothie bar is clean, organized, and stocked at all times.
-Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Nutrition Sales:
-Provide knowledgeable recommendations about health supplements, protein powders, vitamins, and other nutrition products.
-Educate customers about the health benefits of various ingredients and products.
-Assist with inventory management, restocking, and merchandising.
-Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Customer Service:
-Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly.
-Foster relationships with regular customers, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
-Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in a smoothie bar, café, retail, or customer service role preferred.
-Passionate about health, nutrition, and wellness.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
-Basic knowledge of nutrition and dietary preferences (e.g., vegan, gluten-free) is a plus.
-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
