ZONA Cantina + Cocina , located in Mesa AZ, is looking for a talented Kitchen Manager. This is a unique opportunity to become a part of a team that is working towards opening restaurants across the country with locations currently open in Arizona and California, and a new location that will be opening this year.
The ideal candidate will be passionate, organized, hard working and self motivated. They must possess a strong desire to learn and grow as a professional, while also having great communication skills and the ability to work well with a team. Strong leadership qualities a must.
Key Qualifications Include:
-Minimum of 2 years previous experience working as a kitchen manager/executive chef in a fast paced professional kitchen
-Working knowledge of Department of Health (DOH) standards
-Great work ethic
-Managing BOH
-Must possess the ability to work well in a fast paced kitchen
-Ability to work 50 hours plus weekly with open availability
- Experience with doing staff scheduling and keeping tight controls on inventory
-Placing orders with vendors.
Salary:
55k-60k, based upon experience.
