Looking to make some extra money this season in Phoenix? We are seeking a diligent and reliable Utility/Dishwasher to join our personal chef company. To deliver our five-star experience for our clients, the Utility/Dishwasher plays a valuable role to ensure smooth execution of our in-home fine dining service.
You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment using both machine and manual cleaning methods at our clients' homes. This position ensures that the client's kitchen remains clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Washing & Sanitizing: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand. Ensure all kitchen items are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
Organization: Sort and stack clean dishes, and carry cleaned items to appropriate storage areas in the client's kitchen and the company vehicle. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing and kitchen areas, including sweeping and mopping floors. Remove garbage and recycling and place in appropriate bins.
Support: Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation as needed. Ensure all kitchen and dining room items are stocked and available for service. Follow all health and safety regulations and report any hazards or safety violations immediately.
Qualifications:
Experience: Three years of previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role in fine-dining restaurants or similar establishments preferred but not required.
Skills: Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Good physical stamina and ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects. Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
