Anzios Italian Restaurant is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our back-of-house restaurant operations. Must have previous experience with Italian food preparing pasta dishes.
Responsibilities.
Cook and manage tickets
Cook menu items in coordination with the rest of the line cooks so tickets are executed in a timely fashion
Check food plating and temperature
Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)
Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
Skills
Proven work experience as a Cook or Chef
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Ability to read tickets and execute any modifications requested
Familiar with industry’s best practices to include proper cooking and holding temperatures, sanitation procedures and safety protocols
Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
Must have food handler certification card
