We are currently seeking a Cook with senior living experience to join our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare nutritious and delicious meals that meet the unique dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
Ensure all food is properly purchased, stored, prepared, and served in accordance with health and safety standards.
Assist with staff support, including training, scheduling, and team development.
Participate in menu planning, special event meals.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
Ensure compliance with all state and county health regulations and community policies.
Assist with Dishwashing a few days a week and setting up dining room for meals.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in senior living or a similar culinary role
A passion for serving seniors and understanding their dietary needs.
Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards for food quality and kitchen cleanliness.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Culinary degree & senior living experience preferred
Working knowledge of basic kitchen operations, food safety standards, inspection
requirements, and licensing rules.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Able to manage budgets including food, supplies and labor
We Offer:
Competitive pay starting at $6,000.00- $7,000.00 per month DOE
Fixed working hours Sunday- Thursday 7:00 am-6:00 pm
