Seeking to fill the position of Line Cook in a cafe serving Breakfast and Lunch M-F.
This Full-time position is open immediately, offers a stable schedule with weekends and major holidays off. Shifts would be aprox. 6:30-2:30. Free meal every shift you work.
Responsibilities include interacting with customers in an open kitchen, prepping and cooking food to order while patrons wait, actively keeping kitchen and storage areas organized and clean, cleaning up after yourself and other members of the team including washing dishes, sweeping/mopping, etc.
Must be a team player with a good customer service attitude.
Please have some experience cooking food to order, with a sense or urgency and attention to detail/quality.
Must be reliable and punctual to work.
Menu is generally diner-style breakfast and lunch. Eggs, omelets, breakfast burritos/sandwiches. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, quesadillas.
Please be familiar with using flat top griddle, broiler/grill, deep fryers and other basic commercial cooking equipment.
Also willing to consider PT/Temporary Prep Cook/Dishwasher
