We are a 55+ premier housing community located in Gold Canyon, and are looking for a full time Activities Coordinator to join our team.
The qualified individual assists the Activity Director in planning and providing group and individual activities for the residents. Participates in large resort scale events, serving food, cleaning up, and aids in the set-up, take down of events and other duties as assigned or requested. Duties will involve personal contact with a varying resident population, record-keeping, attention to the environment, use of supplies and equipment, and maintenance of storage areas.
The typical hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Must be flexible as on occasion (during season) may include working some weekend and evening events. We offer Paid Time Off, 401(k), Dental, Health & Vision Insurance.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Food service and event plaining experience
Preferred food handler’s certification
Organized and detailed oriented
Office/computer experience
Friendly customer service, excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
