Job Title: Test OperatorJob DescriptionPerform ICT and functional Go/No Go testing on system assemblies, subassemblies, printed circuit boards, and products using test equipment and various test instruments and procedures.Responsibilities
Set up test equipment and understand the test and assembly processes for each type of board or system/subassembly tested.
Operate test equipment requiring basic computer skills and knowledge of test programs to properly identify and interpret failure parameters, recording and entering them into the Quality Management System (PFS).
Identify component types and read component values for integrated circuits, resistors, capacitors by sight or with appropriate devices, detect workmanship and material defects, and affix appropriate markings or defect tags in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures.
Follow step-by-step procedures while performing duties such as frequency and/or voltage adjustment and observe meter readings to determine if the item being tested meets minimum requirements specified in test procedures or test programs.
Maintain records of units tested, accepted, or rejected, utilizing statistical process control charts.
Apply basic to intermediate knowledge of applicable specifications and normal product standards to individual electrical tests.
Essential Skills
1+ year of experience in electronics manufacturing (e.g., soldering, testing, QC, machine operation, SMT).
Basic tool usage (small tools).
Ability to read blueprints, SOPs, and work instructions.
Experience with SMT, oscilloscopes, multimeters, hand tools, and inspection.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have ITAR documentation (must be a US person).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic ICT/Flying Probe or Go No Go Testing experience is preferred.
