Student Services Advisor(Student Services Exp Required)

We are seeking a friendly and supportive Student Services Advisor to join our team in a Remote role. Required hours are between 8:00am - 6:00pm PST. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive guidance and support to students throughout their academic journey, ensuring their success and well-being.Offer personalized academic advising to students, helping them navigate course selection, degree requirements, and career planningProvide empathetic support and resources for students facing academic, personal, or financial challengesCollaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement student success initiativesMaintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with FERPA regulationsOrganize and conduct orientation sessions, workshops, and informational meetings for studentsAssist with the development and implementation of retention strategiesServe as a liaison between students and various university departments to resolve issues efficientlyStay up-to-date with academic policies, procedures, and program requirements to provide accurate information to studentsParticipate in campus events and activities to promote student engagement and successPay Range: $24 - $27 an hour depending on Student Services Exp within For Profit Education
