Job Description

Broadridge is growing! We need a successful Operations Analyst who will play a meaningful role towards mitigating operational, financial, and regulatory risk for both Broadridge and our Clients and afford our Clients excellent service and a great experience. You will be responsible for the results associated with all aspects of responding to and handling client inquiries, thus avoiding any reactive negative inquiries by Clients and their customers. You'll work independently to respond to all client inquiries daily including the most complex and escalated issues.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute the monthly operational tasks for our Market Intelligence, Opportunity Hunter, and Tax products
  • Analyze and evaluate data using SQL in Greenplum(Postgress) and Oracle databases to make decisions and identify potential issues
  • Execute routine and emergency batch tasks including: deploying / restoring batch environments, restarting batch jobs, correcting JIL for new deployments as needed.
  • Work with Java developers to resolve operational problems and implement the recommended solution.
  • Work with the Implementation team to implement new data feeds for existing clients as well as implementing new client environments including CRM synchronization as required
  • Create procedures and scripts to support our operational environment including monitoring and proactively managing SLAs with clients
  • Assist in enhancing and supporting the SalesVision operational dashboard
  • Assist clients with SFTP transmissions/mailboxes and obtain working knowledge of current Broadridge software used to manage SFTP (i.e. current tool is Connect:Enterprise).
  • Performs overall operational duties specifically focusing on daily, weekly and monthly procedures including but not limited to:
  • Assist with the support of the CRM and SDR systems daily batch streams
  • Development and implementation of AutoSys jobs (utilizing JIL)
  • Run/oversee scripted processes that require manual intervention/interpretation such as full re-assignments
  • Run one-time SQL scripts upon request in both Greenplum(Postgres and Oracle DB's)
  • Ensure adherence to standards, best practices as it pertains to SalesVision operations and processing
  • Interaction with the Pittsburgh based and India based operations, support, client services, data management and software development teams.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience using Oracle and ANSI SQL and Shell Scripting.
  • Also desirable is knowledge of Greenplum DB as well as an understanding of a scheduler such as Autosys.
  • Capability to function effectively in a self-directed environment and interact well with other teams(software development, sales and relationship management, internal users)
  • Ability to demonstrate tact and sensitivity in customer communications projecting a positive image
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Documentation of procedures, issues, and solutions in our knowledge bases of Confluence and JIRA.
