As a Non-Destructive Test Technician - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in non-destructive testing techniques to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for performing various non-destructive tests, such as ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, and liquid penetrant testing, to detect and analyze any defects or flaws. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our products.You will report directly to our Non-Destructive Test Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our products by conducting thorough non-destructive tests and providing accurate analysis of the results.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform non-destructive tests, such as ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, and liquid penetrant testing
Analyze test results and provide accurate reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment
Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
FAA REQUIREMENTSAll applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Non-Destructive Test Technician
Level 2 certification in non-destructive testing method (e.g., magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing)
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately analyze test results
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
