Field Project Coordinator BUSINESS UNIT: ConstructEdge FUNCTION: Service REPORTS TO : Director of Operations CLASSIFICATION: Exempt LOCATION: Phoenix, AZ EDUCATION: Industry standard Project Management certifications or relevant experience EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years’ experience preferred Who We Are Looking For ConstructEdge, a CCR company, is a Managed IT Service Provider focused on helping Construction Jobsites achieve maximum efficiency and production leveraging technology. The Field Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by bridging the gap between on-site activities and office-based project management. This individual will spend approximately 50% of their time on construction job sites, interacting with customers, subcontractors, and field personnel to drive projects forward. The remaining 50% of their time will be dedicated to office-based tasks, including project planning, scheduling, coordination, and administrative duties . What You’ll Accomplish and Experience On-Site Coordination:

Act as the primary point of contact on construction job sites, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration among all stakeholders

Conduct regular site visits to oversee progress, address issues, and verify compliance with project specifications and safety standards

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to schedule deliveries, installations, and other project activities

Provide on-site support and guidance to resolve technical challenges and ensure quality workmanship

Customer Interaction:

Interface directly with customers to understand their requirements, address concerns, and provide updates on project status

Proactively manage customer expectations and maintain positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle

Gather feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall satisfaction.

Project Management:

Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with the project management team

Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, implementing corrective measures as needed to keep projects on track

Maintain accurate documentation, including project records, progress reports, and change orders

Coordinate with the office-based project team to ensure alignment between on-site activities and project objectives

Administrative Support:

Perform administrative tasks related to project coordination, such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing documentation

Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment, tracking inventory levels and coordinating deliveries as required

Support the project management team with various ad hoc tasks and initiatives as needed

Desirable Previous Experience

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

Proven experience in construction project coordination or a similar role

Proven experience in telecommunications space or IT Managed Services

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders

Solid understanding of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations

Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail

Proficiency in project management software and MS Office applications

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to construction sites as required

OSHA 10 is required within 6 months of being employed

OSHA 30 is required within 2 years of being employed

Basic understanding of wireless network technologies, signal strength, loss of signal, line of sight, interference, etc

Basic understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP including IP addressing and sub-netting and network connectivity, etc

Advanced problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills to facilitate projects from beginning to end
