The Engineering Support Specialist I will work on developing and maintaining business tools and solutions supporting Aero organization and products. You will work closely with engineering leadership on managing data collection, processing and analytics. You will work across disciplines within the Electronic Systems business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.In addition, will work with the team to improve management operating system by developing business tools and solutions that are easy to maintain, scalable and most importantly produce actionable intelligence based on data analytics. You will coordinate with the team leader in the prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives.RESPONSIBILITIES

Understanding of Software Databases like Microsoft SQL DB

Data Visualization and Analytics tools like Tableau

Automation using Microsoft Excel, VBA, and Python

Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) process of combining data from multiple sources into a large central repository

Analytical skills & problem-solving skills

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F

Reports to: Sr Software Eng Manager

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorizationMUST HAVE

Understanding of software databases, data visualization and analytics tools, automation using Microsoft Excel, VBA, and Python as well as ETL process

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

Bachelor’s degree in CIS (Computer Information System) or equivalent discipline

Knowledge of software configuration and change management practices with DOORS NG, JIRA and Atlassian tools
