Robert Half is seeking a Desktop Support Technician who is able to convey complicated technical information to non-technical users in a simple and concise format. This Desktop Support Technician role is best suited for problem solvers who prefer to work in a challenging and positive environment. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary in nature and is based in the North Phoenix, AZ, area.Key responsibilities- Provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems- Interface regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals- Solve computer problems, and implement appropriate action/solutions- Match hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors- Deliver computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities Requirements - Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing- 3+ years of desktop support or other related experience- Desktop Imaging experience preferred- General familiarity with PC desktop/workstations- Strong familiarity with Desktop Hardware- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Windows Server 2012- Adeptness in Desktop Support- Desktop Operating System experience highly desired- Practical knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating System- Command of Deskside Support- Windows Remote Desktop experience highly preferred- Demonstrated knowledge of Desktop System Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
