NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
$20-30/hour depending on experience

Primary responsibilities:
This position involves a fair amount of problem solving since clients don’t simply ask for X and we hit the ‘X’ button to provide it. We need to:
-Determine best types of signage to fit client’s needs
-Quote signage and installation
-Make on-site visits with clients to measure signage/locations, take photos and videos for reference, take clear, detailed notes
-Outsource signage or make ourselves when possible
-Outsource installations or install ourselves when possible
-Hold customers’ hands (figuratively …usually) - ranging from those who have never ordered signage before, to experienced, longtime customers
-Communicate with client throughout process to keep them updated on progress
-Reply to email inquiries and request overflow help when needed
-Help wherever it’s needed. Sometimes that could mean assisting customer service, helping with phones, assisting production, cleaning, etc.
Qualifications:
-Prior experience with many types of signage is a must
-Experience with Illustrator and other signage programs preferred but not required
-A great attitude and a naturally friendly and helpful demeanor. This just can't be faked. You’ve got to actually like people and care about them having a good experience with us.
-Excellent organizational skills
-Highly motivated, reliable, and productive
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Completely comfortable with computers and learning new applications
-The willingness & desire to figure out what needs to be done on any kind of project given to you without requiring your hand to be held
-Installation experience preferred but not required
-Ability to work on premises and travel locally (no remote work)

Since day-one in 1999, Acme was founded on the principle of being different from the companies we were forced to use before doing it ourselves. We were tired of the bad communication, the late orders, the sub-par printing, and the complete lack of responsibility if something went wrong.
Those companies functioned as if they started their businesses on back porches because they needed shirts for their bands. Which is exactly how we started printing for ourselves too. But we made Acme a business with the express purpose of giving people the experience they deserve. The one we never got, no matter how many places we tried.
