Mobile Field Compliance Specialist

No, Your not a mechanic and you will not be working on any engines or conducting any hard physical labor.

AIRLIMITS DIESEL DIVISION a leading provider of mobile compliance testing and inspection services, is seeking Mobile Field Technicians to serve truck drivers and fleets across the state of ARIZONA .

About the Role

MOST OF YOU’RE APPOINTMENTS WILL BE IN GLENDALE, AVONDALE, TOLLESON & PHOENIX with possible travel to other ARIZONA cities.

As a Mobile Field Technician, you’ll be part of a dynamic team ensuring truck drivers and fleets stay compliant with Compliance regulations.

This role requires travel to meet drivers at various locations, including truck stops, rest areas, and customer sites, often on short notice. Future opportunities may include travel to other regions to assist with nationwide compliance efforts.

Responsibilities / What we Expect

Clean & Professional: You’re representing the company AIRLIMITS, so you act like it.

Manage your own schedule and meet deadlines – we don’t micromanage.

Travel to locations across Phoenix and surrounding cities (sometimes further) to Perform mobile compliance inspections and testing on trucks.

Communicate effectively and compassionately with truck drivers, fleet managers and dispatch.

Handel customer interactions, professionally and efficiently.

Keep accurate records and submit reports in a timely manner.

Work in all types of weather, including ARIZONA heat, humidity, rain, and occasional cooler conditions.

Manage a flexible and ever-changing schedule, including evenings and weekends and overtime.

Accurately complete and submit inspection reports.

Physical Requirements

Clean background check (required) Drug free environment with random tests. Clean driving record that will be verified.

This role requires physical fitness and mobility to:

Open hoods, Kneel, squat, and use small step ladder. (RARE)

The ability to pull yourself up into large trucks or semi’s.

Work efficiently outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Ability to read fine or small print. Vehicle identification number.

What We’re Looking For

A valid clean driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle. Yes, you’ll use your own vehicle during the introductory & training period. Option for vehicle reimbursement or company vehicle after introductory and training period.

Independence: The ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem solver: When something goes wrong, flat tire, traffic, equipment issue, you’ll find a way to get the job done.

Technology: Experience with Apple smart phones and iPhone operating systems iOS, apps and able to input information into customer relationship management CRM & Field Service Management FSM platforms.

Flexibility: We work when customers need us, which means early morning, late nights and weekends at times.

Comfort with changing schedules, including weekends and evenings, and possible overnight travel.

Reliability: Ability to stay organized and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Compassion: A customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills.

Physically Capable: Comfort working in physical roles and outdoor environments.

Independent Contractor Agreement

“During the initial training and evaluation period or indefinitely, determined by AIRLIMITS and the individual will work as an independent contractor under an at-will contract agreement. This means the working relationship may be terminated at any time by either party, with or without cause or notice. The duration of this period is not predetermined. Successful candidates may be considered or have the option to transition to an employee role, based on demonstrated reliability, competency, and adherence to company standards.”
