- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Assist in development/implementation of reporting tools and metrics in Salesforce and Excel
- Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment with 300+ users
- Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
- Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
- Work with the management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
- Assist in training of new and existing users, and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization
- Responsible for documentation of training programs
- Assist in Salesforce process documentation
- Effectively act as the liaison between the users, vendors and the application development teams
- Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements
- Work closely with the IT organization to identify and implement solutions that expand system functionality, improve scalability, and manage cost
- Identify opportunities to leverage Force.com platform with company service partners and other 3rd parties and work with organizations to implement
- Maintain positive work atmosphere/environment
- 5 years’ experience in meeting and exceeding customer expectations, required
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and in writing with all levels of the organization
- Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
- 5 years of working with multiple computer systems on a daily basis to deliver a business result while identifying opportunities to adapt and improve system performance and functionality
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
- Strong data management abilities
- A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
- Managerial experience, a bonus
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views and other content of intermediate complexity
- Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
- Certifications in Sales Cloud and / or Service Cloud are preferred
- Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certification preferred
- Strong Understanding of Chargent and CPQ preferred
- Experience supporting an accounting system is a plus
