We are a HVAC company seeking to add an experienced full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to our growing team. Individual needs to be self-starting, organized, trustworthy, reliable, and flexible in job duties. This position will work across various departments including accounting and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data entry and processing of all invoicing accurately and timely
Reconcile invoices to purchase orders, resolving any discrepancies
Work with individuals at all levels of the company including management staff to resolve discrepancies
Perform weekly check runs/credit card payments/electronic payments
Manage A/P to take advantage of all available discounts
Updating and maintaining inventory pricing
Set up of new vendors
W9 and Certificate of Insurance Compliance
Filing/Scanning invoices in to accounting software
Assist Purchasing with issuing purchase orders/credit card approval when needed
Company Event Planner
Assist with other projects as needed.
Key Qualifications:
2 years Job Cost Coding/GL knowledge
Construction accounting - Strongly preferred
Sage 300 Accounting Software - Strongly preferred
Multitasking
Excel Knowledge
