Key Responsibilities:
Install drywall panels on walls and ceilings, ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment.
Measure, cut, and shape drywall to fit designated spaces, including around windows and doors.
Tape, mud, and sand joints to create a smooth finish on drywall surfaces.
Frame walls and ceilings using wood or metal studs.
Install additional materials, such as insulation and soundproofing, as needed.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes.
Perform repairs and renovations as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a carpenter and drywaller.
Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in drywall installation and carpentry.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
