We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Shimmer Boat Service, a well-established boat service shop. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a team that provides top-notch service to boat owners in the community.
Position: Clerical Support
Type: Full-time 37 hours a week
Tuesday through Friday 8am-4pm Saturday 8am-12pm
Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls and responding to customer inquiries.
Writing up service orders and entering information accurately into our system.
Ordering parts and supplies necessary for service jobs.
Handling customer service tasks and following up on orders.
General clerical duties, such as filing and maintaining organized records.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office and Quickbooks
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in clerical or administrative work is a plus.
A background or interest in boating is a bonus, but not required.
