A production worker works in manufacturing process of an organization. A production worker performs laborious duties producing products at a factory.
Job Duties and Tasks for: Production
Production workers work in the manufacturing process of a product.
Production workers perform the assemblage and also the loading and unloading of machines.
Production workers perform repetitive duties.
Production workers do various jobs in the pre and post production process.
Production workers will manufacture products manually and also by machines.
Production workers should be willing to work in shifts and for long hours.
Production workers may perform physically demanding tasks, such as standing, bending, lifting, and twisting.
Should be willing to learn and put their best efforts for production.
Should be capable of working in demanding situations when required.
Production workers go through the training about safety procedures of the machines before starting work.
Assembles finish product. Starts, operates, tends, stops, and cleans machine. Inspects product to ensure high quality.
Clean production area. Sweep, mop, and remove debris.
Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies.
Feed or place items onto equipment for processing. Measure and pour ingredients, ensure conformance to specifications.
Turn valves to regulate flow of liquids or gas. Mix ingredients.
Production workers pull damaged or ineffective equipment off the line.
Mark parts for identification, measure length of extruded article.
Place equipment on conveyor belt for further processing.
Scrape waste material from machine.
Read and interpret gauges and record data.
Manages own time effectively, ensuring a maximum of productivity.
