Please read this entire post if you’re actually interested in the position. I understand it’s long, but there’s a lot of important information because I don’t want to have to answer questions over and over again for a ton of people.
1. I need several small jobs taken care of.
Cutting of wood, trimming juniper trees, and taking them out. Getting rid of all dead parts of trees and oak bushes.
Then Helping to take to the dump I have a trailer
I have smaller jobs… You need to be proficient excellent at using power tools. Skill, saws, drills, chainsaws, etc
I have a small lean to that needs to be built.
A small structure
I will have trees to be planted
Gravel to be spread
This job also includes cleaning out the chicken in the goat coop occasionally. Helping me with the animals. As of now I have dogs five of them. So please do not be afraid of dogs, goats and chickens.
I have many other things that will need to be done overtime
I’m looking for somebody to come reliably one to two days a week for the day .
You need to have your own transportation
Absolutely no drugs or drinking on the property.
I live off grid. I am on route 66. You will turn on Hackberry Road and I’m 10 miles back on dirt roads. If that is too far, please do not apply.
I will not come pick you up. I meet you. I have directions if you can’t get here I can’t help you.
If you have a problem working with a woman then do not apply.
I am flexible on the days of the week
I would like to start time to be early 7 AM works for me
Eight hours a day preferably six is fine if that’s all you have
$15 an hour to start if it works out and you’re an excellent at your job I can go up from there
2. I am looking for somebody to be a ranchhand and possibly live here. Period but you would need to have your own place to live right now a trailer or a van that is in excellent condition.
I will be doing a background check
No drugs or alcohol if you are in recovery that is fine, but you need to be honest with me so in the background check comes I understand.
I will have water for you and I have a septic you can dump in. I do not have electricity. You’ll have to have your own solar. If you have a generator, I do not want to hear it all day long. You can use it for a few hours a day
I’m trying to be transparent, and give as much information as I can so the right people apply and we’re not wasting anyone’s time.
Depending on the situation, I will feed one meal a day I don’t know which meal a day. But we can work that out.
