Job Title: Field TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Field Technician, you will be responsible for performing material testing both in the field (80%) and in the lab (20%). You will travel to various work sites to conduct tests and ensure the quality of materials used in construction projects.Responsibilities
Perform material testing in the field and lab.
Travel to work sites around the valley and possibly throughout Arizona to conduct tests.
Communicate effectively with the team.
Read and interpret plans accurately.
Conduct tests in accordance with ACI Field, ACI Strength, and ICC Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry standards.
Perform testing of various materials, including soil, aggregate, and asphalt.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year of experience in material testing.
ACI certification.
Knowledge of Arizona Testing Methods, ADOT Testing Methods, and MCDOT standards.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in field and lab testing.
Management skills.
General labor skills.
Associates degree in Construction Management is a plus.
