Tax Preparer

Description We are in search of a part-time Tax Preparer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in processing tax documents, utilizing software tools like Pro-connect, and ensuring data accuracy before the final review by a CPA. This role is not client-facing and does not require personal filing numbers. This role is fully remote. The company is based out of Arizona, but we can accept candidates located anywhere within the US.Responsibilities: Review and process tax documents provided by the intake team Utilize Pro-connect for processing tax documents Confirm the accuracy of data entered by other team members before the final CPA review Prepare various tax returns, including individual, business, and LLCs Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations Maintain a high level of productivity during tax season Handle bookkeeping tasks during the off-tax season to maintain productivity Participate in team meetings via Teams or Zoom as requiredRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Competency in Tax Software Capability to perform Accounting Functions Understanding of Allowances in tax preparation Proficiency in Data Entry and Document Review tasks Understanding of tax Deductible calculations Experience in preparing Individual Tax ReturnsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
