We are seeking a skilled Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic with entrepreneurial drive to join our growing aviation services operation in beautiful Sedona, Arizona. This is a unique dual-role opportunity for an experienced mechanic who also has the vision, leadership, and passion to grow a business as an equity-holding partner.
This role offers the best of both worlds: hands-on aircraft maintenance and strategic involvement in building and expanding a high-quality aviation maintenance service catering to general aviation customers in one of the most scenic flying destinations in the country.

Key Responsibilities:
As A&P Mechanic:
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on piston and light turbine aircraft.
Troubleshoot airframe, engine, electrical, and avionics systems.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance records (logbooks, forms, work orders).
Order and manage parts, tools, and inventory as needed.
As Business Partner:
Collaborate on business strategy, marketing, and service expansion plans.
Help build and manage a team of mechanics and support staff as needed.
Contribute to customer acquisition and retention efforts.
Evaluate opportunities for growth including hangar expansion, avionics services, or flight school integration.
Share in business profits and decision-making.

Qualifications:
FAA A&P Certification (Required)
5+ years experience in general aviation maintenance (preferred)
IA certification a plus (but not required)
Strong technical knowledge of piston aircraft (Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, etc.)
Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in business operations and growth
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Willingness to relocate to or commute regularly to Sedona, AZ
