We are an established Land Surveying-Civil Engineering company that has served Northern Arizona for 50 years. We are looking for an individual with strong accounting/bookkeeping, and administrative skills. This person will have an eye for detail, a self-starter who takes initiative, solves problems, and can work independently. A person who listens, communicates, and has strong oral and written communication skills is necessary. This individual must have proficient knowledge of QuickBooks, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint.
Accounting/bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to:
- A/R, A/P, GL reconciliation ( bank accounts and credit card account)
- Deposits
- Manage, take, and track credit card payments
- Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll (done through QuickBooks Online Payroll)
- Work with accountant for year-end closing and tax preparation/process 1099's
- Prepare monthly business reports: P&L, Balance sheet, Account Aging
- Manage benefit accounts
- Manage retirement account
- Manage business insurance
Administrative duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Greet customers, answer phones, take messages.
- Filing, scanning, copying
- Check mail and emails daily.
- Assist Project Managers
- Learn and manage BillQuick, a project management software program used to track projects, invoicing and time
keeping for payroll.
- New hires
- Prepare/type/format various documents, proposals, work orders, and submittals.
- Manage the office including office supplies, coordinate cleaning, maintenance for printers etc.
This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday 8am to 5 pm)
