We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook-Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining and experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will be responsible for making a variety of dishes and baked goods that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a crucial role in menu planning and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items that align with seasonal trends and customer preferences.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
Maintain cooking and baking equipment , ensuring they are clean, functional, and safe for use.
Experience
-Proven experience as a Cook and Baker in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting is preferred.
-Strong knowledge of food handling, food safety standards, and best practices within the food industry.
-Familiarity with dietary department protocols or as a dietary aide is considered an asset.
-Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
