While you help us advance the mission, we’ll help advance your career.The Quality Analyst / Training Specialist will support the development and implementation of learning, development, and technical assistance programs for health care value-based payment initiatives for GDIT’s Veterans Administration contracts. The position will be responsible for designing, preparing and reviewing training documents and deliverables. Oversees the delivery of on-site and/or in-house training classes, seminars, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises and discussion groups for customers and/or stakeholders.Leads development and implementation of learning, development, and technical assistance programs for health care value-based payment initiatives for GDIT’s Veterans Administration contract.

Responsible for designing, preparing and reviewing training and technical assistance documents and deliverables

Attends and participates onsite to support program areas as needed

This position will manage training and technical assistance schedules, arrange assignments, and communicate progress to all team members and people leaders

Responsible for preparing quality assurance documents, training documents, workflows, standard work, and visual media for the team

Collaborates with team members for process improvement suggestions

Informs and consults with team members, people leaders, and stakeholders about potential barriers that impact team results

Ensures assigned projects and work queues are completed in a timely manner

Provides training solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.

Oversees the delivery of on-site and/or in-house training classes, seminars, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises and discussion groups for customers and/or stakeholders.

Develops measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant training and technology.

May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:BA/BS in health informatics or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years’ experience working with health services data for research, analysis or reporting purposes.

Experience working with data products, data documentation, and data delivery.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including issue resolution, and conflict management.

Must have analytic capability.

High proficiency with MS Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Experience with telecommuting, working from a home office.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Strong time management and organization skills.

Ability to operate with general direction/minimal supervision.

Demonstrated ability to produce results.

Ability to understand technical requirements.

Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting
