Assc Patient Care Coordinator

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Assc Patient Care Coord in Chandler, Arizona. This role is integral to our healthcare operations and involves interaction with patients, ensuring a smooth registration process and maintaining financial records. Responsibilities: Ensure a positive patient experience throughout the registration process Collect and maintain accurate and thorough patient demographic data Verify insurance information and eligibility, and understand benefits Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of insurance, TRICARE, and NIS policies Determine and handle patient financial liability Refer patients to the Patient Registration Specialist for assistance with financial counseling Comply with organization's policies and procedures for resolution of patient financial liability Provide necessary information to patients and families, explaining hospital policies and patient financial responsibilities Uphold patient rights and responsibilities Operate within the Emergency Department on various days/hours. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service Ability to understand and implement Procedures and Policies effectively Must have knowledge of Insurance policies and Benefit Functions Experience with handling Reimbursements and understanding Liability Familiarity with Offshore processes and protocols Ability to manage Patient Demographic information accurately Experience in Patient Registration and understanding of the Registration Process Proficiency in Financial Counseling and managing Patient Financial records Knowledge of TRICARE policies and procedures Experience with NIS software system Understanding of Patient Rights and ability to communicate them effectively Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
