DESCRIPTIONTechnical specialist and primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute complex repairs to generators and components at the customer’s site.We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in (Avondale, AZ).We offer sign-on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits!In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Completing repair activities on generators or components
Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
Maintain detailed records of service
Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
Maintain own tools
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.
Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products.
RESPONSIBILITIES(Advanced):
Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems.
Understanding switchgear schematics.
Able to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics.
QUALIFICATIONS
A current valid license is required for this role
This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
3 years driving experience
This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
