This person aligns strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding products and services, partners and suppliers, organization, capabilities, and key business and IT initiatives. The primary focus includes the business motivations, business operations, and business analysis frameworks and related networks that link these aspects of the enterprise together. This position works to develop an integrated view of the enterprise using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standard techniques.Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the needs and requirements for enterprise solutions.
Guide Business Analysts through the evaluation, design, and selection of solutions primarily with enterprise platforms, cloud solutions and infrastructure services.
Develop a business architecture strategy based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations.
Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise.
Describe the primary business functions of the enterprise and distinguish between customer-facing, supplier-related, business execution, and business management functions.
Define the set of strategic, core, and support processes that transcend functional and organizational boundaries; identify and describe external entities such as customers, suppliers, and external systems that interact with the business; and describe which people, resources, and controls are involved in the processes.
Design, document and implement governance and compliance solutions as needed.
Develop, document, and communicate architectural standards for enterprise environments and applications.
Partner directly with product owners to drive Greenbrier technology roadmaps.
Cross train and perform knowledge sharing with other teams.
Create in-depth design documentation, business cases, recommendations, and presentations.
QualificationsThe following generally describes requirements to successfully perform the assigned duties.Minimum Qualifications
College diploma or university degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years related work experience
Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products
Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language
Ability to apply analytical and statistical skills to systems issues and products as required
Proficient in product management
Experience with enterprise solutions (MS D365, ServiceNow, and Salesforce).
General understanding of technical concepts (network, storage, compute, Azure cloud, firewalls, backup and recovery)
Experience in documenting current and future state for targeted audiences.
Experience using visualization/diagramming tools (Miro, Visio, etc.)
Experience using Enterprise Architecture Management solutions
