Permanent Full-Time exempt position

Gastineau Human Services (GHS) 5597 Aisek Street, Juneau, AK 99801

GHS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people in Juneau restore their lives when they are adversely affected by addiction, homelessness, or incarceration.

Gastineau Human Services is hiring for a Permanent Full-Time Clinical Supervisor position. This position is responsible for providing clinical guidance, direction, and supervision to behavioral health program services and staff. This position directly supervises Behavioral Health Counselors, Behavioral Health Case Managers, and/or Behavioral Health Associates.

Permanent full time exempt position, M-F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; may include occasional evening scheduling.

Starting annual income of $75,000 - $90,000 DOE

Knowledge/ Abilities/Skills:

You have knowledge, practical and theoretical, regarding all clinical aspects of the fields of Addictions and Mental Health, including an extensive working knowledge of ASAM and DSM V diagnostic criteria.

You have the ability to oversee and ensure a quality continuum of clinical services, to include - consumer assessment, identification of problem areas, treatment planning, and treatment plan review.

You have experience at performing skillful individual, group, family counseling services, crisis intervention, case management and referral.

You have experience with clinical documentation that meets criteria as outlined by corporate policies and procedures, payer sources and professional/ethical regulations. Uses current Medicaid standards in all client documents and reporting.

As the ideal candidate, you are experienced in working with individuals recovering from addiction, have healthy boundaries, are compassionate, fair, and respectful, have integrity and is a team player.

You are comfortable attending community events and or meeting hosted by community partners in the recovery field.

You have excellent and consistent leadership skills, computer skills, good written and oral communication, time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree, from an Accredited Institute of Higher Education, in the field of counseling, psychology, social work, criminal justice, or related field of social services.

Three years' prior experience providing direct services in the field of Addictions or Mental Health

Licensed in State of Alaska as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

Prefer supervisory experience in the fields of Addictions or Mental Health.

Previous experience in the management of programs providing co-occurring services, or experience providing direct services to such population is desired.

Requires background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Must be able to be insurable by GHS auto insurance.
