Assistant Warehouse Manager (Wasilla)
Immediate Opening for Assistant Warehouse Manager.
Qualifications:
Electrical general construction experience (Preferred but, not Required)
Valid driver’s license (Required)
United States work authorization (Required)
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Warehouse: 2 years (Preferred)
Forklift Certification (Preferred)
Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) (Preferred)
Vannoy Electric is seeking a highly motivated person to assist the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day tasks, which include but are not limited to:
Receiving
Stocking
Pulling orders
Shipping
Safety management
Training of Parts Runners
Stock rotation
Product security
Maintenance of power equipment
Special projects
As the assistant warehouse manager, you will assist and orchestrate the safe and efficient processing of orders, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness of processing. Provide leadership and manage performance of pre-apprentices. In addition, you will promote company values including respect, teamwork, and a culture of continuous improvement. You will be expected to actively participate in long- and short-term planning as a key member of the distribution management team. You should plan to be on warehouse floor 95% of the day to ensure proper distribution functions being fulfilled. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining a safe working environment while efficiently processing orders which meet and exceed the fields’ expectations for quality and timeliness while constantly working to maximize order accuracy and on-time delivery.

Ensures OSHA regulations are followed
Physically and safely lift boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
Pass driver qualification policy requirements according to company policies and OSHA regulations
Receive forklift operator certification
