Looking for a female PCA to work full-time midnight to 8am shifts. These are not sleep shifts, meaning you must stay awake. You will be working with a young female with physical disabilities (not mental) and the job entails just following directions on how to reposition her while in bed or to complete personal tasks she needs done. Must love animals because there are a lot in the home and the job requirements are; TB test, first aide, and CPR. Note: The individual is looking for someone between the ages of 18-30 because past experiences has dictated that older staff have a much harder time with the night shift i.e. falling asleep or complaining about how often the individual needs repositioned. Also, the individual has found that older staff have a harder time following directions because they are stuck in their way of doing things. The individual is very independent and intelligent and does not need to be prompted or told what to do.
