Upstream Family Medicine, a busy primary care practice needs a full-time medical assistant. We are looking for a hardworking, energetic, compassionate, and flexible Medical Assistant to work in a clinical setting. Position is full time, 4 days a week with 10-hour days.
Some duties include but are not limited to the following:
Prepare patient's charts
Room patients
Recording vital signs
Set up rooms
Entering patient orders (labs, imaging, and other physician orders)
Clean and sanitize equipment regularly
Give injections
Set up supplies needed for clinic
Draw blood
Clinical phone calls
Entering patient medical history
Medical paperwork/ questionnaires
Experience with electronic medical records program is preferred but not required.
