We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in culinary arts and a passion for food preparation. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of delicious dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment at all times
- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant position
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Culinary school diploma preferred but not required
