Position: Delivery Driver
Minimum Starting Wage: $20/hr
Hours: Full-time, 40 hrs/wk, some overtime, occasional weekend work

The Position:
The Delivery Driver’s primary role ensures timely, accurate and efficient delivery of Alaskan Brewing product and provide excellent customer service to our business partners. General responsibilities include:
Conducts pre-trip inspection of truck prior to each day’s deliveries.
Drives truck to deliver items to assigned customer’s place of business.
Listens to and resolves service complaints.
Consistent delivery time to fulfill the needs of our customers.
Properly deliver merchandise and rotate product.
Fills all out of stocks, price marking product when required, pickup all empties and damaged products.
Accurately maintains cash collected, truck inventory, all required invoices, forms and related paperwork.
Responsible for first-line maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicle.
Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
Ability to assist SE Sales in taking orders, performing off-premise merchandising and on-premise line cleaning.
Assisting with other brewery warehouse needs, as directed.
Reporting to the Southeast Sales Supervisor, this person is a key member of the Southeast Alaska Sales team. Knowledge, skills and physical requirements needed to be successful in this position include:
One year of related experience and/or training preferred.
Excellent driving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Possess strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
Ability to set priorities and manage competing demands.
Computer skills using word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
This position requires operation of the company delivery truck. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a current medical card permitting the operation of the company delivery vehicle.
Ability to maneuver pallets of beer weighing 2,600 lbs using a pallet jack or forklift.
Ability to stack 40 lb cases and lift/maneuver kegs weighing up to 170 lbs.
Ability to repetitively lift heavy objects.
Ability to drive a forklift and handle heavy objects safely in a team environment.
Ability to work in cold, wet conditions.
