Bobcat of Juneau is looking to hire a full time (year round) Heavy Equipment Mechanic Apprentice. Must have some schooling or a basic understanding of automotive/heavy equipment repair. Schedule will be 5 days a week (Monday thru Friday). Base pay is $18-$30/hr DOE. There will be an additional $10/hr plus overtime when working out of town.
Minimum requirements:
-Honest and trustworthy
-Willingness to learn
-Strong computer skills
-Have a basic set of hand tools
-Strong attention to detail
-Have a positive attitude
-Be willing to perform other duties if Repair work is not available
-Have a valid drivers license (class A or B would be a plus)
-Ability to work with minimal supervision
-Be punctual
-Ability to read and write English
-Ability to take direction
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs
-Common sense is a huge plus
-Must put safety first
-Random drug/alcohol tests
-Background check
