Job Description
We are looking for a skilled auto mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them. Experience with mechanical and electrical systems is desired,
but we will also train the right person on the job. Timeliness and reliability are essential.
Responsibilities
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair
Repair or replace parts and correct issues
Keep accurate logs of issues, work performed, time for repairs, and parts used
Maintain shop equipment and tools in good condition
Minimum requirements:
-Experience as an auto mechanic
-Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
-Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
-Ability to use various tools and shop equipment
-Excellent physical condition
-Strong computer skills
-Have an extensive set of hand tools
-Strong attention to detail
-Have a positive attitude
-Be willing to perform other duties when Repair work is not available
-Have a valid drivers license
-Ability to work with minimal supervision
-Be punctual
-Ability to read and write English
-Ability to take direction
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs
-Common sense is required
-Must put safety first
-Random drug/alcohol tests
-5 years experience required
