Job Description
We are looking for a skilled auto and marine mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles and boats. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them. Experience with mechanical and electrical systems is desired, but we will also train the right person on the job. Timeliness and reliability are essential.
Responsibilities
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
Inspect boat engines and components to diagnose and repair issues
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues
Keep accurate logs of issues, work performed, time for repairs, and parts used
Maintain shop equipment and tools in good condition
Skills
Experience as an auto or marine mechanic preferred
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles and boats preferred
Working knowledge of vehicle and marine diagnostic systems and methods
Ability to use various tools and shop equipment
Excellent physical condition
