High-volume, fast-paced optometry practice has a career opportunity as a Patient Care Coordinator. We are seeking a strong candidate who has the ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy. Candidate must possess advanced skills in communication, customer service, and computer use. This position requires the ability to handle interruptions throughout the day while multi-tasking, such as checking patients in and out, utilizing the electronic scheduling/billing software, answering a multi-line phone system, checking insurance eligibility, making outbound calls, and more. Our Patient Care Coordinator is the main point of contact for our office and therefore must present themselves professionally, conduct themselves tactfully, and be punctual and reliable. In-depth training will be provided, which will include job shadowing. Candidate must demonstrate ability to retain and implement knowledge.
Hours are currently 7:15am-5:30pm 4 days a week, but may change to include a late evening once per week.
Employment Type: Full-time (37.25 Hours/week)
