Overview: The ACSA is seeking applicants for a temporary, part-time program and grants support position. This position works with professional development and grant staff to ensure program efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities: The ACSA Program and Grants Support duties to include, but are not limited to:
1. Professional Development Course Support:
Answering registration questions, assisting with registration, and grading issues, course completions/cancellation notifications and transcripts.
Understanding the Distance Education program and the registration parameters for the different providers.
Processing registration and grades
Mailing course materials
Submitting course proposals and building course websites
2. Administrative support for state and federal grants:
a. Producing grant meeting notes
b. Calendaring grant project management meetings
c. Facilitating credit class tracking for grant funded registrations
d. Ordering grant supplies and mailing support
e. Travel booking
f. Maintain grant document database
g. Webpage management as assigned
Preferred Education, training, and experience:
● Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, education degree preferred
● Education and/or grant experience strongly preferred

Salary: $22 / hr. starting

Location: Juneau is preferred, but remote work from another location in Alaska is possible.
