The Craig/Klawock Senior Center provides much needed services to the elders of Craig and Klawock by providing nutritious meals in the center and in their homes. The Craig/Klawock Senior Center also provides transportation to the community’s elders to keep them active in the community and to help them meet their day-to-day needs. Consider joining us in one of our available positions!
Substitute Cook: Duties include relating to staff, participants and volunteers in a positive manner; preparing meals according to senior nutrition program guidelines; and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen according to Alaska food service regulations. Prior industrial kitchen experience preferred but we will train. Must obtain State Food Worker's Card within 10 days of hire. $15/hour
Substitute Assistant Cook: Duties include preparing dining room for noon meal; assist in serving meals to participants; assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen; assist with the bagging of home delivered meals; other duties as assigned. Prior industrial kitchen experience preferred but we will train. Must obtain State Food Worker's Card within 10 days of hire. $13/hour
