Southeast Senior Services is looking for a Fleet Specialist to oversee maintenance and licensing of our fleet of paratransit vans across southeast Alaska.
Job duties include maintaining vehicle files (digital and hard copy), coordinating timely vehicle maintenance, coordinating vehicle insurance and registration, overseeing agency incident reporting, purchasing replacement vehicles, overseeing the sale or disposal of vehicles pas their useful life, conducting training pertaining to vehicles, and other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance, excellent interpersonal skills, computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook, ability to locate data from multiple sources, the ability to be highly organized with focus on detail and accuracy, and experience working with elderly or disabled clientele.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, four years of experience in paratransit or transit. Pre-employment and random drug testing required, background check required.
This position is Full Time, 37.5 hours/week. Starting pay is $27/hour.
