Job Description

Does the idea of collaborating, networking, and traveling excite you? If so, we are looking for you! Southeast Senior Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Family Caregiver Support Advocate to operate the Senior and Caregiver Resource Center. This position is responsible for providing support, assistance, education, and information to seniors and their caregivers across Southeast Alaska and includes quarterly travel throughout Southeast Alaska.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a background in outreach, experience working with seniors, excellent organizational skills, and outstanding written and oral communication abilities. An education in social services, healthcare, or related field is preferred but not required for this position. Applicants must have the ability to work independently and be willing to occasionally travel to rural communities by boat or plane. Background check and fingerprinting required.
Compensation and Benefits
This position is full-time, 37.5 hours a week, wages $20/hour DOE. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, a 403(b) Thrift Savings Plan, paid time off and 12 paid holidays annually.
