We're looking for a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful person to assist our Seasonal Dept/Garden Center manager. Multi-tasking skills and Customer Service is a must. You will work with vendors, purchase, merchandise and care for our seasonal departments including Holiday, workshops and garden center. If you enjoy planning, organizing, working with people and all things holiday and garden related then this is the job for you!
Some travel may be required. You must like people and be able to lift 50lbs. This is a full time, 40 hour per week position. Responsibilities include merchandising, unloading and stocking freight, purchasing, cashiering, assisting customers, caring for flowers, trees and shrubs and all seasonal products.
Qualifications/Skills:
Strong plant knowledge is preferred but not required
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks
Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time, lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions
Some weekends may be required
Computer Skills including but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Email and POS
Duties / Responsibilities:
Care and maintenance of plant stock
Unloading and displaying/storing of merchandise
Maintaining the appearance of the grounds and seasonal area.
