Can you track and juggle multiple tasks at a time and bring them to completion within a realistic timeframe? Our tight-knit company is looking for someone with a mechanical and residential repair background. The right candidate will be clean in their personal appearance, as well as how they organize, prepare for, and clean up after a job. Interaction with clients and guests will be a part of the job. This is a job which offers much variety in tasks. Use of company facilities for recreation can be available with proof of use competency.
This is a very unique opportunity for a talented person to work in a small town in a gorgeous part of Alaska. As part of the lifestyle and work life, employees will be able to enjoy a simple life style in a fun place, and able to enjoy a myriad of fun activities during off time.
Your primary duties will include, yet are not limited to:
Assitance with all kinds of construction.
Assisting with packing of charter fishing catch.
Turning over lodging facilities upon guest departure, laundry, making beds, general cleaning up.
Assistance with boat, automotive, and household repairs.
Directing and aiding lodging guests, airport transportation, greeting.
Keeping shop and tools organized to a high degree.
Must keep work area clean and organized during and upon completion of tasks!
Applicants should possess the following core attributes:
- Dependable, mature, honest, trustworthy, cooperative and flexible.
- Must be clean and organized, addiction free including drugs & alcohal.
- Must be willing to live and work in Yakutat, Alaska.
- Must be willing to work out of doors, in a variety of weather types.
- Is able to receive directions and training.
- Must posses a valid drivers license.
- Any automotive/mechanical experience a plus, but not required.
